Getting a delivery and I don't understand what this means?

I used the Royal Mail tracking website and the latest update on the delivery is saying "Sales Order Raised" what does this mean? Thank you :)

Royal Mail Postie here



It means the company you purchased the item from has assigned it a tracking code and informed Royal Mail that the code is now live.



It has not yet entered Royal Mails system yet, when it does it will show an tracking state at the local Mail Centre.



My guess is you should see tracking status changes from 6 pm to Midnight when it will enter our system if sent today.
