The national plant (NOT flower) is the leek. This has been the case for centuries. The daffodil was a political emblem dumped on the country in the last century by Lloyd George, a prime minister who made Tony Blair look like St Francis of Assisi.

There is no national bird, puffins on the coast maybe. Trees feature in a number of Welsh folk songs and place names, notably the Oak and Ash.

National Flower: Daffodil

National Bird: The Red Kite

National Tree: The Sessile Oak, or Welsh Oak.

Touring Wales means touring the landscapes - they have wildly picturesque landscapes that are fun to traverse, and great to take pictures in, or if you have an artist's touch - drawing/painting them.

the only thing i can think of is the transporter bridge which i believe only boasts two others and was designed by Isambard Brunel(the worlds most prolific engineer) last century, but isn't a tourist attraction, but i think it's brilliant, this can be found in Newport, which some people say is in england
