I'm planning to move there with my bf,he lives there actually. Just would like to know from another persons point of view. He says that he will take me everywhere I would like to go, so I won't just stay there. But what I would like to know,if surrey is a nice place to be living in. I live in a city in usa so I'm sure it would be so different then what I am used to live in.

Check out the visa situation before you travel. If you arrive without fulfilling the conditions to stay, the UK Border Agency will just put you on the next plane back (just as the US Immigration Service does with anyone they don't approve of).

I live in a rural part of Surrey. It is a scenically beautiful county with pretty villages and pleasant towns with good facilities. All of Surrey is within 40 miles of London and whichever area you live in, you will have a station nearby with a frequent rail service to London.

It a large area of England that is very, very nice. Some parts are nicer than other though, so you need to know which town or village you are talking about.
