I'm visiting Nottingham with my friend in July from Scotland. Problem is, he won't drive in this country (he's German), and I don't drive. We are flying From Glasgow Airport and arriving at East Midlands Airport (18 miles from Nottingham). Is there a bus service from the Airport to Nottingham centre? Taxi would be way to expensive for us. We are on a budget. Also is there a bus which goes back to the Airport on our day of departure (30th July)?

The Nottingham Skylink departs during the day every 30 minutes and during the every 60 minutes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There is a dedicated website to it at

As above. a 30 day return is a rip off £9.00. There was a bus service for £1.20. But NCT canceled it. They are reliable and run 24 hours. Go out of arrivals you will see the bus stop to the right on the other side of the road. If you need anymore info then contact me. If I can help I'd be happy to.
