I'm going to London later this month and plan to shop a lot. Since I don't want any overweight on the plane, I'm thinking about sending my things (mostly clothes) in a box. On the post office website I found prices for "small packages" up to 2 kg, but what can I do (and what prices are there) if I want to send more or perhaps a "bigger package"?

For anything bigger, use Parcelforce, which is part of the post office anyway though they don't like to admit it. If you go to a UK post office with your box, they'll price it up and send it for you. If you have the weight and dimensions of the box, http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/home will help your work out the price of postage.

Enjoy the shopping!

Royal Mail - Parcel Force

You will need the dimensions and weight, to get an accurate price -

Parcel Force is probably your best bet.

If not then try one of the courier brokers like parcel2go.com
