Which season has the best weather? Are there seasonal things I should know about, such as open air markets or craft shows?

I'm planning my honeymoon in England this year -- any advice or tips are much appreciated!

It depends on what you are after, but generally summer is the best time to visit these countries, August is the prime time.

There is a lot on during summer in the UK and Ireland so you would not be short of things to do. Edinburgh has the Edinburgh Festival during August, which is a month of comedy, theatre, arts, etc, spread across pretty much every venue, pub, restaurant, and street in the city. Its awesome.

In and around London in August there are many festivals and markets to visit. The music festivals in Summer in the UK are huge and amazing and feature the worlds top artists. If you are heading over during this time I would recommend looking up on popular UK websites like ticketmaster or ticketek to see what big events you can check out while there. Tickets for things like concerts in Hyde park do sell out pretty quick.

Ireland again you probably want to try to go in summer. All of these countries struggle to ever get really hot, and they all rain a lot so summer is best to limit the bad weather. Ireland is beautiful to hire a car and drive around, visiting the more remote but spectacular areas like the Dingle peninsula and the coast west of Cork.

I stay in England, and that i've got visited Scotland and eire. the individuals in the two countries are very welcoming and effectual, so which you would be high quality in the two. i'm stunned which you seem to have skipped over Wales, it relatively is a great place to bypass, and the individuals there are in basic terms as friendly. As for the place to bypass, what do you desire to verify? all 4 countries have a mix of cities, nation-state, mountains and each little thing in between. maximum places have some type of history centres which will teach what that area of the country became like all hundred years in the past, and how that's stepped forward when you consider that then. when you consider that i don't understand what you would be finding for, it may desire to be nicely worth you passing some time finding up various the places in Wikipedia, and seeing what they could desire to grant, and making plans your holiday around what you discover in there. That way, you're able to desire to taylor the progression to examine what you're interested in. Have a great holiday.

End of April and most of May. We often get a nice warm spell. Everything is fresh and green in the Spring. Most attractions are fully open after Easter. It's outside the peak season, too.
