I have a friend who lives in England and was wondering, what kinds of items that can only be found in America would a Man from England want? I know now a days you can pretty much buy everything over the net but I was wondering if there were some American items that might be enjoyed over there. If it is any help I live in Texas and could send Texas items. Any help will be great and I will give 5 stars thanks!

I know I'm not a bloke lol but for me I'd like something that is typically Texan. Something you'd only find in your state.

If, for example, I was to send you something. I would send you something typically Yorkshire like a Yorkshire Parkin. This is a very Yorkshire type of cake with a gingery taste. I don't know anywhere else in the UK that sells it. Or send you the recipe for Yorkshire Puddings :)

That's the sort of thing I'd do. I'd avoid electrical items too as your electrical system is different to ours and many things would need converting. Also, an American friend sent my sister a camera and she had awful trouble getting it because of customs and ended up paying a fortune in duty.

Weeellll...it depends. If you're trying to surprise them, some interesting or funny items from Texas could go down well! Bear in mind that electronics and clothes are usually much much cheaper in America than England, so if you know your friend wants something along those lines, those are a good bet (eg: ipods, jeans...they all tend to be less expensive). Or you could send some food that you only really get in America (provided it won't go bad before it arrives!!!) For example, I always got a kick out of getting Lucky Charms in America. I used to eat them as a kid and then they stopped making them in the UK! Hope this gives you some ideas.

A 'CARE' food relief parcel containing:

one pound of beef in broth

one pound of steak and kidneys

8 ounces of liver loaf

8 ounces of corned beef

12 ounces of luncheon loaf (like Spam)

8 ounces of bacon

2 pounds of margarine

one pound of lard

one pound of fruit preserves

one pound of honey

one pound of raisins

one pound of chocolate

2 pounds of sugar

8 ounces of egg powder

2 pounds of whole-milk powder

2 pounds of coffee

You can buy these from the US army surplus dept. Try to get the ones left over from the Berlin airlift. The ones intended for use in occupied Japan may not be so tasty.
