If the traffic is kind I can drive it it 2 hours straight along the M4, but what part of Wales did you have in mind.

Wales is a country. Which part of Wales? From central London to the capital of Wales which is Cardiff will take about 3 hours by car or by train from London Paddington 2 hours 6 minutes (www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk)

Most of the rural areas of the North Wales and central Wales will take up to 4-5 hours to reach from London

Wales covers a rather large area ... I regularly drive London to north Wales and it takes me on average 5 hours, that is between 4 and 4.5 hours driving, plus a coffee/loo stop
