what are the best places to go in Cornwall?

i am 17 and was thinking about taking some friends down to cornwall in the summer for about a week, what is the best town to stay in, what are some of the best places to visit, attractions to see. is there even anything in cornwall that could keep us amused for a whole week?

Newquay with its surfing usually attracts the younger crowd ... however if you're all 17 years old you're probably going to hit problems finding somewhere to stay as places usually want you to be adult (i.e. over 18) to make bookings ... hope you're taking some adults with you
