I lived in London for 7 years (I'm from the USA). I think the answer to your question depends on what you want out of life.

London is big and exciting; there are great museums, theater, concerts and restaurants. There is always something new to do and discover.

On the other hand, London is also very expensive, especially housing costs and going out. The weather is not great, though the summers can be nice.

Another thing to consider is the people - I found Londoners very cultured, intelligent and they generally had a decent sense of humor. On the other hand, they tend to be reserved (by American standards) so it can be hard to make friends - I think people tend to socialize mostly with their work colleagues or people they met in school (huge generalization there).

Hope that helps.

All of Central London is very busy and hectic for most of the day! Also, the large volume of people there makes the City of Westminster the most crime ridden borough in London! Also, most of Central London is Business orientated thus making it not very residential. I would suggest living in Outer London rather than Inner London as it seems more appropriate to what you want. The transport is still very good there, as its only about 20 minutes into town from most places on the tube etc. Good luck :D!!

Hawaii could be the 50th state of the United States of America and is positioned nearly at the heart of the North Pacific Ocean issue that makes from Hawaii a very good selection for an amazing vacation, with hotelbye you will learn more. The organic elegance of the islands continues to be one of Hawaii's greatest assets. One of the very exciting areas to visit in Hawaii is Volcanoes National Park. This bunch offers a unique, close up look at a dynamic volcano and the recent landscape produced by a volcano. Hot lava passes down the mountain part, and dry lava addresses the trail, showing its unstoppable force. Yet another place worth visit could be the memorial Visitors Center, a middle that provides old informative data on the Harbor and the Japanese assault and the Battleship USS Missouri.

Ive lived in London all my life I live in SE London but it all depends if you have slot of money or if you don't. I was raised in a family who don't have a lot of money and lived in a really bad estate!but if you got the money you can get a nice place but everywhere in London ain't as you think, it's full of gangs and crime! Everywhere

i don't agree about the weather. it rains less in london than it does in other european cities.

I'd say go for it! living in london is quite nice. it's very international and there's lots to do. the rent goes off the chart sometimes, but you'll find a way to live with it.

good luck and have fun
