If you have time there are many places worth visiting in Scotland:

Edinburgh - for the history

Glasgow - for shopping and the architecture

The Highlands - for the landscapes and tranquility (and whisky)

The Islands - for beauty (seriously awesome!) (and whisky)

Oban - for a regal seaside town

Ben Nevis - To climb the UK's highest mountain

Go visit the highlands, look around the Fort William and Lochaber area. Glenfinnan is gorgeous, not only is it where Bonnie Prince Charlie landed with Flora Macdonald, but where they filmed the viaduct scenes in all the Harry Potter films.

The banks of Loch Ness and round about Drumnadrochit are spectacular n the summer. Dont forget to go and enjoy one of our numerous Highland Games in the summer as well. Great Fun, and full of friendly people.
