Check Out this site, it contains details of the most haunted hotels in britain and links you direct to each one.

I use it for ghost hunts and haunted hotels in the north east, but it serves the whole of britain.

Good Luck!

Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor cornwall is fantastic. It has been featured on "Most Haunted", and was very active. I don't live very far away, and have visited there many times, and each time something spooky has happened! Bodmin gaol is also close by for a visit. We intend to spend next Christmas at Jamaica Inn, A friend of mine did it this Christmas, and she was woken in the night by the sound of horses hooves in the courtyard, but there were no horses to be found.Cornwall has many haunted locations.

i'm into one of those situation too. I have got here upon haunted lodges interior the Oxford area and the Cotswolds. in basic terms Google "Haunted lodges". there's an internet site - yet i'll't bear in mind the link immediately. Sorry! Why no longer holiday outdoors of the Dorset area? make confident that your hotel is amazingly previous. A 16th Century training hotel is a amazing idea. best of success!

Penfound Manor, nr Poundstock, Cornwall. 17th century / linn.

Stayed there yonks aback, and scared myself half to death!

The manor was originally a Saxon dwelling given by William the Conqueror to his half-brother, Robert, Count of Mortain. The Penfound family, who took their name from the manor, moved in during the 12th century. Kate Penfound's ghost tells the story:-

The Civil War ruined everything. It turned neighbours, friends and family against each other. My father was a Royalist and hated Parliamentarians. My love was John Trebarfoot, his family were staunch Parliamentarians. My father would never agree to our marriage. Only fifty years before another female member of this family married a Trebarfoot and there was no problem. The Civil War changed that.

My love and I decided to elope. I climbed down a ladder to the courtyard where John was waiting. Before we could escape, my father caught us. We fought, John was killed and I was badly injured, as was my father. I died later from the wounds inflicted by my own father. He also died. I return to this house looking for my lost love. On the 26th April, the anniversary of this sad event, you may see all three of us.
