So me and my boyfriend are wanting to move as there is not suitable jobs for us in the area we live in and we like change. We came up with the idea of wales (currently live in north east England) however even google can't tell you where to move to in Wales.
I'm not asking for moving advice, just asking if any of you have been to Wales, what's it like, is there any towns/villages there that stand out to you. I like rural areas, with easy access to a town. We aren't rushing into anything and looking for fun advice only :)

thank you

If you do not know Wales then you need to take a holiday there first before you decide anything, you also need to apply for and get a job that will then tell you where you need to live and can start looking for rental property

i visited wales and went to chepstow, i really liked the town as it is pretty and quaint and has a superb setting on the river usk surrounded by countryside, the forest of dean is within walking distance and there are many trains to cardiff with bristol also being nearby so you have your large cities near for entertainment and work and some great countryside too. my advice to you would be to avoid the valleys and the west coast as employment opportunities are slim, anywhere in the south or the english border will provide easy access to work and some really nice cities and countryside.

Wales has unemployment too and will not welcome 2 more claimants, where are you going to live there? how will you pay rent?
