If you can get yourself to Bournemouth Uni, you can catch the Megabus. You don't say when you want to travel, but fares seem to start at around £5 - £8 for Megabus or Megatrain (also available from Poole). The longer you book in advance, the cheaper it will be.
Do you have a Young Person's coachcard? If so you get discounts on National Express coaches. Look out for Nat Express funfares - fixed travel times, but pretty good value.

Try the train. Its more frequent and much much faster than the coach. Advance purchase fares are reasonably priced and an annual railcard will give you a 34% discount
