December, January and February.

Spring begins in March (technically 20th March) so March April and May are Spring

June July August are Summer

September October November are Autumn.

Like the rest of the Northern Hemisphere, it lasts from the Winter Solstice ( 21 December) to the Spring Equinox (20 March in 2013)

However, the Meteorological Office calls it the months of December, January and February.

After the 21st of December, the evenings to lighten, albeit at first at a slow % but the increases soon become apparent. In the course of the iciness months, (apart from the clock going back one hour in October), the evenings get shorter because of the solar dropping beneath the tropics. During our iciness, the sun is shining on the curb a part of the equator extra. This enables the southern Hemisphere to revel in their summer climate with more and longer direct sunlight, even as less direct sunlight means the northern Hemisphere is colder. As the earth strikes up and down for the duration of the yr, the subject with more sunlight enjoys the first-class weather.

The winter season comes between the rainy season and the monsoon season. Normally in Summer.

November, December, January.

I think that technically Feb is Spring, but it normally feels like winter in Feb.
