Pretty much every city or town named — except London — is actually fictional. These include: Godric's Hollow, where Harry lived with his biological parents until they were killed; Little Whinging, where Harry is raised by his aunt and uncle; and Little Hangleton, where Tom Riddle was born.

The location of Hogwarts is never mentioned and is "unplottable", meaning it is somehow impossible to plot on a map, suggesting that it's not really in our reality as we understand it — not that any of the Potterverse is, of course.

Diagon Alley, where everyone buys stuff, is accessible from the London Underground. "Grimmauld Place", which contains the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, is supposed to be somewhere in London.

Privet Drive where Harry spends most of his summer is located in Surrey, not too far from London.

Hogwarts is a place in some different land that no 'Muggle' can enter! So dont think it really exists on a map!

In the films Hogwarts is a castle up in Scotland somewhere!

Hogwarts is rumored to be in Scotland. Many other places in the book are located in London.

Hogwarts is a hidden and unmapable location, however Harry's Aunt and Uncle are in London.
