I'm going to Britain for 3 months and I was wondering if anyone knows good places to go. Not the obvious London eye and stuff, but things in little towns like Camden and anywhere from Scotland to Wales. We will be traveling everywhere and even if there's a good fish and chip shop you recommend going to I would like to know....

Love how you think Camden is a little town!! (?) Part of the borough, of the same name, forms part of Central London!!!! It could not be more central in the conurbation.

Try and visit the cool Northern English cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds. Manchester is at the centre, and the others are both less than one hour away. Lots to see and do and a real slice of British life and culture to be seen. A bit stereotypical, but they say the best fish and chips are to be had in Northern England, best served with a portion of what are called mushy peas!

My native North Wales is not far from Manchester and Liverpool, and you can visit the wonderful Roman city of Chester on the way.

Know Scotland well. It is all fantastic.

York is rather effective. that's a pedestrianised historic city with a number of the oldest preserved streets interior the united kingdom and has a astounding Minster. even though it relies upon what you're finding for. in case you prefer to occasion, attempt London, Dublin or Manchester. in case you like someplace picturesque, attempt the lake district.

Hi I would suggest you to read - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/5125246/10-best-places-in-England-to-visit.html , hopefully this would help you to know about some of the famous places of Britain. I would also like you to visit another good online travel planner - hellotravel.com for getting good quotes. I just hope that both of them prove to be a good source of information for you.

Not London. London is a nice city, but it isn't Britain.
