like most countrys most of the people are good. when i think ireland ..i think : potatos, drinking, open countryside, ira , poitín, guinness, shamrocks and fae. i know two people who are irish and theyr great funny people. i love hanging out with them. I get abit nervous around gypsies, as they tend to talk too fast even for me to understand.

i dont quite understand the whole religious conflict in n. ireland though.i know its alot better than it was , but it must surely take so much effort to be angry.

I'm Welsh so not quite what you're looking for but I wanted to answer anyway.

I love everything about Ireland, it is such a beautiful country with great friendly people (in my experience).

And I don't know anyone who doesn't love the Irish accent, it is sooooo cool, it is the single most badass accent in the world.

I also love the history of Ireland.

I think I like it so much because it is quite similar to Wales.

I like it. I lived in Northern Ireland for a while and we used to cross the border a lot.

my surname is Irish derivative so going there feels like home, in spite of the hissing rain.

ambivalence about the gangsters

the normal prejudice about politicians

love the small informal bars, the music, the crack the stouts

love he scenery and history the monuments and the neolithic remains but no more so than England, Scotland

If you could guarantee less than 60mph wind and driving rain for an entire fortnight, I'll go again

I love it! My favourite place. My nana lived in cork till she was in her early twenties because my Grandad(from Dublin) got a job over her so she had to move. But all her life she regretted it, she mourned her home. We planned to go to cork when i was 16(just me & her) but she died last year.

Eire is beautiful and the language is just a music... Most Ukrainians think so.
