NOWHERE! It's always freezing on the UK coast even during a heatwave, there will be so much cold wind. Definitely not sunbathing weather. I live in London and always sunbath in my local park, it's lovely.

If had to go to somewhere in England it would be either Devon, Cornwall or Bournemouth - I have been to Devon & Cornwall a long time ago but prefer to go to Spain, I am from Scotland

Cornwall. The north coast tends to be more beachy.

Bournemouth and Poole share over seven miles of clean sandy beaches that shelve gently into the sea. They have better than average sunshine too. Bournemouth also has night life.

For quieter, old fashioned resorts the Isle of Wight has Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor. Really lovely places to visit.

There is actually an island called Jersey in the English Channel which would probably be the best as it had the nicest climate and best beaches in the U.K. Including st brelades bay. But if you are talking about mainland U.K. then Weymouth.

The UK has many breaches, considering Britain is an island and surrounded by them and Northern Ireland has Antrim and Down coast line both of which are hard to beat worldwide.....so it really depends on what you like Devon/Cornwall likely warmer but packed with tourists or the wild, isolation of Scotland and islands, some very commercial and some very traditional old charm of English breaches, Wales has a great mixture from isolated to full out holiday places, great expanses of beautiful sand with few people in Down and the historically beautiful winding between picturesque villages and unforgettable scenic locations of Antrim....... few I have not been to having travelled the whole of the UK extensively for 30 years competing and staying in many as well as childhood holidays maybe my favourite is Murlock beach near Newcastle in Co Down and Sker Beach is the most westerly of Porthcawl's beaches and is only accessible by walking from Rest Bay or the Kenfig National Nature Reserve Wales where I spent time time surfing and dolphin watching, cooking on the beach and picking wild strawberries on the return walk
